Linpark High School would like to extend their appreciation to Loads for Durban for
sponsoring the brilliant workshop on “Becoming an Entrepreneur” on the 27th of February
2012. This is an important part of the Grade 11 Business Studies curriculum, as well
as for our economy in the larger sense – so we were thrilled to offer our learners
access to such excellent speakers and free enterprise material. The demographics of
our school is over 80% non-white, so we are in need of as much support as possible.
We were also very grateful for the unexpected gifts at the end of the workshop, I.e.
Books and DVDs for our learners to benefit from. Programmes of mentorship and support
in entrepreneurship are always appreciated.
